The inspections
An evaluation grid based with more than 600 criteria is used to check the quality of the campsite before it can be recognised by the Camping Qualité association.
All campsites are checked on the same points :
- Information and booking system
- Access, the site and the surrounding area
- Welcome on arrival
- Pitches and amenities
- Condition of toilet and washing facilities
- Cleanliness of toilet and washing facilities
- General cleanliness
- Basic leisure activities
- Stay on the campsite
- Invoicing, organisation, management

Every campsite is different and therefore also judged on its added extras :
- Grocery stores and shops
- Take-away meals
- Bar, Restaurant, Self-service
- Swimming pool
- Events
- Rental accommodation
- Winter caravaning
- Additional services (day nursery, cinema)
